He Cares

our God is far greater,
than words can make known.
exalted and holy,
He reigns from His throne.
in infinite splendor He rules over all.
yet He feeds the poor sparrows,
and He knows when they fall.

His power is great,
and will ever endure.
His wisdom is peaceable,
gentle and pure.
but greater than all of these glories i've seen,
is the gloriest promise,
that He cares for me.

Alone in the battle

I'm desperate for You, Lord

The King of all glory, made Himself low

To be my defender, wherever I go

My shield and my refuge, protector and friend

You're always here with me, You're always here when my

Heart's under fire, facing defeat

So close to surrender, to my enemies

But Love came from heaven, to fight for me

When I am defenseless, You climb in the trenches

The trenches with me

Lord, thank You for this reminder that even when I feel alone, You are here with me, through it all, working all things for my good.
