He Cares
our God is far greater,
than words can make known.
exalted and holy,
He reigns from His throne.
in infinite splendor He rules over all.
yet He feeds the poor sparrows,
and He knows when they fall.
His power is great,
and will ever endure.
His wisdom is peaceable,
gentle and pure.
but greater than all of these glories i've seen,
is the gloriest promise,
that He cares for me.

You say You know the hairs upon my head,
But I think that You'd be more concerned with things like raising up the dead.
You say You hear my gentle whisperings,
but I think that You'd be more consumed by so much more important things.
Sometimes I need to know You hold the stars,
But right now I need for You to be so small that you can hold my heart.
And sometimes I need Your voice to calm the seas,
But right now I need for You to calm the raging storm inside of me.
Oh God of wonders,
Sometimes I have to wonder,
How can it be the God of the universe,
Who gave us life and shows his mercy over all the earth,
Sees me on my knees and hears my every word?
Cause it's hard to believe that out of billions you could still know me,
How can it be?
You're big enough that I've seen healings.
You're big enough to change a heart.
You're big enough to give me feelings.
And still you're small enough to care what they are.
How can it be?
Oh how can it be,
That you hold the world,
That you hold the stars,
Even before I was born You were holding me heart?
Lord You see my heart.
Help me to trust in Your provision in Your timing.
