with pride i lead.
i'm actually really glad to be a spec.
heh.
okay so i'm just thankful i managed to book out this weekend.
and at this current moment i'm just feeling a little lost and confused. and not because of uni apps.
yes i'm going to apply to local unis. why? i'm still not sure myself.
some random uk uni finally replied. like after dunno how many months. got an unconditional offer which just felt kinda weird actually.

posting results.
unexpected? actually not really. i kinda expected it.
it almost is in a sense ironic, even though i wont elaborate.
so before friday i actually had dreams about postings. more like nightmares actually. to be frank i've been worried this past few days about where i'd get posted to.
i was scared i couldn't take the physical and mental test.
and i prayed about it. i prayed and asked God to send me wherever He wanted me to go.
because whats important isn't really the posting.
what was more important was that i wanted to be a good example for Him wherever i went.
and so thats going to be my attitude.
i'll try my best to do Him proud.

blogging from thailand now.
hooray for block leave.
so yes i'm sick and on holiday. quite a lousy feeling actually with a blocked nose and sore throat. oh not to mention recovering from stomach flu. ftw
but yes i'm thankful to God i could actually go on my trip.
the place i'm staying is really amazing. the view is imba. its the kind of villa that i'd build in SIMS. you can just step out from the bedroom and there is the pool. cool or cool.
and yeah from the pool the view is that of the ocean, albeit in the distance. but yeah the view is awesome.
but the only downside about this place is there really is nothing to do. but i came prepared.
so far i've:
watched 3 dvds, read 1 and a half books, played psp, slept, swum once.
think i'll watch another dvd tonight and go swimming again later.
okay till i get back.

these 4 days have been amazing.
wed: 24km road march + pop
thursday: soccer + training
friday: frisbee + lan + cell
sat: go ntu to play more softball + go kallang to watch juniors play softball + go jiahui's house to match man utd get owned + johnson stayover
in the course of these few days i got just about 7 hours of sleep or under.
sounds a bit like army.
so on sunday at approximately 2am, i woke up with intense pains in my stomach and proceeded on to vomit everything out and have really bad diarrhoea.
ughhhh
so the doctor says its stomach flu and i should rest more. just in time for my trip tomorrow. fantastic huh?
ah wells.
so it was great meeting with the seniors at src. its quite funny to see how army hasn't really changed them all. they really all are the same. except sx who lost an amazing load of weight even though he is only in pes c.
i must say i was amazingly proud with how the juniors played. esp yijie who had some fantastic pitching. they really proved me wrong.
soccer at jiahui's house was really enjoyable as well. it was fun just chilling out with the guys doing guy stuff and cheering when man u scored. of course everything would have been perfect if only man u won. but no. they had to lose. greattt. totally spoilt our day.
johnson coming back was probably the highlight of the past few weeks. realized how much i miss having him around and all. but all good things must come to an end and he's going back tmr morning.
i guess we all move on.

im happy. and really tired.
im supposed to use this block leave to rest and recover.
but yeah somehow not working.
this was my schedule today:
8am: reveille
9am: take mrt to eunos
10.30am: play soccer
12.45pm: stop playing soccer and take bus to suntec
2.30pm: go swensens for lunch with johnson ben jiayi and joel
3.45pm: take bus to school
then go for training.
tomorrow is frisbee time XD
exercise is great for you.

i'm learning that God's will really is perfect.
but it's hard to trust in Him when things don't go the way you want it.
it really is.
i guess disappointment sums up how i feel now.
sometimes i wonder if i'm really inferior to others.
but at other times i know i'm not.
so Lord please help me to understand Your will for me for the next two years.
and for the rest of my life
